A camera is only as good as the network under it
Small-business owners in Atlantic County buy cameras the way they buy printers: a kit online, a weekend, a password on a sticker. Then the playback is choppy, the app times out on the Parkway, and the “AI” overlay is guessing at headlights because the camera is starved on the same Wi-Fi as the guest network and the office PCs. If the front door is backlit at 4 p.m. and the lot camera is aimed at the neighbor’s fence, no model will save the review. Walk the property at the hours you actually worry about. Shore lots fill differently in July than in February. A dumpster cam that looked clever in the showroom is useless if a box truck parks in front of it every Thursday.

Remote viewing an owner will actually open
If playback lives only on an NVR in a locked closet, it will not get used on a Sunday. If it lives only in a consumer cloud with a shared family login, it will get used until someone changes the password. We set remote viewing so the owner — not every seasonal hire — can open live view and a short clip from a phone, and we keep camera admin off the guest network. That is a network and account problem, not a feature checkbox.
